SHE'S THE MAFIA.

CHAPTER 9.
CONFRONTING THE BLOODY MASTERMIND?

Janet’s POV

I inhaled deeply and let out all the stress I had in me through my breath before I walked towards the meeting door with Richard and Lucas on either sides of me. It’s been two years since I have been to any meetings, and two years since I have seen Valentino. I’m sure that he would do everything to keep me here but I’ve made up my mind to peace myself out and I will. Richard opened the door for me and I walked in. Seeing me, everyone in the room stood up and bowed at me except for Elijah and Val. I gestured my hand as sit to everyone and took my seat opposite Val, my eyes fixed on him as he kept his gaze on the table with his one palm on the table, rolled in a fist and other inside his pants’ pocket. Even after two years, he’s still as same as before. So fucking hot and irresistible. He was wearing a grey three piece suit with no tie. His hair combed perfectly and

Lucas took his seat beside and Richard stood behind me, hands locked on his belly. I glanced at Elijah, next to my beloved fiance and my insides ignited. He was smirking at me! I mean, does he know who the fuck am I?

I rolled my fists, and threw everyone a fake soft smiled, “Thanks for coming over here gentlemen. I genuinely appreciate your never wavering respect for me!”

“It’s our obligation to you, Ms. William!” Said Mr. John and I only smiled, “So, why are we summoned here?”

I slowly looked at Valentino who still hasn’t given me a single glance, even though, he’d be dying to fuck me hard right on this table. I clenched my jaw and took out my gun. Everyone’s eyes widen in disbelief and horror as I stood up and aimed it at Valentino, snapping his head on me. His bodyguards instantly aimed their guns at me, where Lucas and Richard aimed their guns on Val.

He looked at the gun in my hand then back in my face. Our eyes staring into each-other’s without a blink. He leaned over his chair and gestured his guards to put the weapons down, they immediately obeyed him without any question. I smirked, looked at Elijah and aimed my gun at him; blood squirted out as the bullet got in the center of his head and caused him an instant death. My action stunned everybody except Val, cause he knew that the only reason I invited Elijah was to kill him.

I put the gun on the table and took my seat back, “Take his body out of the room!” I looked at everyone and smiled, “Don’t worry, gentlemen. I’m not gonna kill any of you. At least, not unless you guys stand against me!” Richard chuckled behind me. He always enjoys my way of work. I looked Valentino in his eyes and he was staring me intently. Very well understood that I didn’t killed Elijah to only remind everyone that whoever dares to stand against us or tries to harm my family. End up like him! But also to warn him to never touch my family again.

“So, you’re finally back, Ms. William!” Said Mr. Malcolm, snapping my eyes at him.

“No!” Hearing me, Val inhaled sharply, his fist tightening as he glared me to death with his deep blue eyes. “In fact, this meeting was arranged to let you all know that I may not be into this anymore but I will always be a part of this!” I looked at my brother and smiled, “So, I’m officially out-

“If you don’t mind, Ms. William!” Finally, Val spoke, eyes at me, hand in the air. “Can I talk to you?” He asked.

I nodded, “Sure, I’m all years!”

“In privet!”

I put my elbow on the table and joined my fingers together as I replied to him, “I’m afraid, Mr. D’Amilio but whatever you have to say. Say it in front of everyone!” He clenched his jaw, staring me. I wasn’t getting intimidated but the fact that I’m here to clear myself out to him only, I scoffed and gestured my hand to everyone as go but Lucas and Richard stayed there, not going.

“I won’t repeat myself!” I said to both of them. Lucas looked at Val and stormed out, followed by Richard. I looked at Val and sighed, “So?” He didn’t answer just kept looking at his fingers on the table with a tiny smile on his perfect lips.

I rolled my eyes, “I don’t have time for your drama Val. Speak up!” No response. I clenched my jaw, and slammed my palm on the table, snapping his eyes on me. “You-

“Shh,” He hushed me with his index finger on his lips. Lowering his hand, he got up from his char and made his way towards me slowly yet dangerously but hell if he scared me. When he reached me, he put his hand on either side of my chair’s hand then leaned over me. “You left me!” He said, his face just inches away from me.

I shot my one brow up, “Are you expecting an apology?”

“Nope!” He pulled back a little to look into my eyes and added, “I want answers!”

“You try to kill my brother to bring me back!”

“Don’t-Switch-The-Subject,” He said quietly, but the threat was noticeable.

“The subject is still what it was” My voice rose as I said, “How dare you hurt him!”

“HOW DARE YOU LEAVE ME!!!” He shrieked at me, and I was slightly startled with his sudden outburst. “I was your fucking fiance goddammit!”

“You better keep your voice down, Valentino,” I snarled; glaring him back with no fear at all. He chuckled darkly and grasped my neck with his huge hands. “Val-Valen Val- I choked, hitting my palms and fist, trying best to remove his hand but failed miserably. So, I did what I was taught. I folded his wrist and kicked him away, causing him to lose balance. When his hand was off, I breathed earnestly and coughed hard.

“Out of breaths!” He whisphered. I shot him a deadly glare. He once again put his hands on the hands of my chair, and arched over me to reach my height, “I was out of breath throughout these years, Charlotte William!” I clenched my jaw. My breath still uneasy, “Life without you was a hell, a real hell. So, to turn it back to heaven, I had to do that!”

“He could have died!” I sneered, getting up from the chair. My fist rolled tight and eyes burning with rage. I could have killed him for real at the moment.

“I shot him on his shoulder, alright. Nothing serious!”

“And Victoria?” I asked, “You didn’t just abducted my brother’s girl but beat her up as well!”

“All of this was done to get you back, and I didn’t beat her up. She fell off the stairs in an attempt to escape!!” I glared at him, yearning to put the bullet in the center of his head for hurting my family. But unfortunately, I can’t because when he saved my life, he created a special place for him in my heart.

Yeah, he has taken a bullet for me.

But I have to get rid of h

Maybe a nice talk could work!

I exhaled and took a step forward; his eyes turned dark as I cupped his face and smiled at him, “You need to understand, Val; I ca- Before I could complete, he smashed his lips against mine.

Great Charlotte! You turned him on.

As his brushed against mine I tried to push him, but he caught my wrists and locked them behind my back, kissing me hungrily. Soon, I dropped the weapons and kissed him back cause; after all, he had yearned for me for two years. Seconds by seconds, his kiss turned from hard to aggressive. Grabbing my thighs and lifting me; he wrapped my legs around his torso himself and put me on the table, kissing harder. After a long breathtaking kiss, he finally left me only to continue his assault on my neck. My hands played with his soft, shiny hair where his hands were busy exploring my whole body. I moaned, whimpered, and shivered as he sucked and bit my neck mercilessly. Kissing my cleavage, his hands reached my shirt’s button, undoing it one by one; he breathlessly said, “Marry me Charlotte, marry me!” I jolted my eyes open when the realization hit me.

What the fuck am I doing?

If I would get into him again, then I’ll tie myself to this again.

By now, he has already undone my shirt’s button and undoing my jeans, but before he could open it fully, I stopped him, taking his eyes on me, “What?” He asked, looking at me bewildered.

I shook my head, “No!”

“What you mean by ‘no’?” He was quick to ask. I placed my palm on his chest and pushed him lightly. Jumping down the table, I said, “I can’t marry you!”

WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE.

CHAPTER 18. “Yes, hold on,” I hastily removed my shirt and put on the pile of our bag and her leggings. “Wait, don’t you want photos first?”...
