THE LOST GENDER IDENTITY.

CHAPTER 29.
WATCHED.

This guy?!

The very same guy who works for Jin’s mother? The same guy who barged into my home, threatening us with a letter from Jin’s mother? I narrowed my eyes, he seemed as shocked as I was.

“What are you doing here? Why were you behind a tree? Were you spying on me?” I demanded to know his intentions towards me or even Hikaru. The mere thought of Hikaru in danger had my blood boiling like hot lava.

He stepped out from the tree and seemed apologetic now that he was found out. He took a polite bow. “Pardon me for my rudeness. I was merely following the orders given by Lady Cecilia. Lady Cecilia had asked me to keep an eye on you. It seems that there are people watching your every move as you are linked to Jin-Sama.”

I frown at the thought of others stalking me. I had no worries if they approached me or ambushed me but I would not let any danger happen to Hikaru. He is my son. I boldly stated my opinion, “If it becomes dangerous for us, I’ll move out.” I glanced coldly at him, waiting for his reply.

He nodded and said he already made arrangements for us to fly to Sussex, Jin’s hometown. I stared back and asked if the place he ensured would be safe for our safety. He nodded solemnly while making eye contact with Hikaru.

Terrified by his piercing stare, Hikaru hid behind me and kept silent. I agreed reluctantly to move out. I hope Jin has been informed of this situation. This just speeds things up for us. Seems like my life is never getting easier. Not even one bit. It follows me everywhere I go.

When we reached home, Hikaru was still in shock, unsure of the circumstances and clung to my leg. I chuckled softly and bent down, giving him a hug.

“Everything is going to be alright. It’s just that we need to move out to another place. Okay?” He made eye contact with me and nodded fearfully. “Yes, papa.” I hugged him tightly and whispered, “I will protect you. No matter what happens. I will.”

After ensuring him, I began packing our clothes and other necessities together while waiting for Jin to return home. He has taken more shifts lately and we have not seen each other for several nights.

Hikaru packed along with me, choosing the toys and books he wanted. Soon everything was packed neatly in a corner, I went to the kitchen to make dinner. I signed heavily and remembered how much I loved this house.

It was lovely and comfortable to live in. I would miss the view and the memories with Jin and Hikaru. However, as much as I hated to leave this place, I could not risk the danger I put Hikaru in. Although that man might not be an alliance, at least I know he is able to protect us. Finally, I thought of our new house in which we were going to live. First things first, I could not wait to talk to Jin... Or rather, demand an explanation from him.

To calm my angry spirit, I laid out my collection of vodka and rum, savouring them slowly while Jin makes his way home. As the door opened, I could see Jin’s tiredness and exhaustion as he walked towards me. My anger disappeared immediately.

“I’m sorry I’m late. Did you want to talk about something? Are you sleepy?” He asked tenderly.

I brushed my fingers through his hair and smiled, Jin always worries about me before anything else. “I had a visitor these past two days. He didn’t introduce himself but we talked about you.”

Jin immediately flinched in anger and took out his phone. His frown turned to an angry expression. I watched him dial a number and silently waited.

“What is the meaning of this mother?! Not only did you stalk me, but you stalked my boyfriend?!!!” He shouted into the phone. “We have a little kid that is now scared because of you so don’t you do this stupid thing again!! I said I’ll come home means I will!! So quit it!!!”

This is the first time I saw Jin angry. I was scared. He looks and sounds like a gang leader. I was prepared to accept his dark side but that does not mean I am not scared. I looked down and started to poke at my scars.

“Hey...” His hand covered my scars as he whispered to me. I glanced up into a blurry sight. I have not noticed I was teary.

“Shhhh...” His gentle voice filled my ears. “Everything is okay now. I’ll protect you both. You don’t need to worry.” He came close and pulled me into a hug, stroking my hair gently.

“Jin. I want to know everything. I’ll tell you everything about me. C-can we?” I was scared of the unknown. Of not knowing. To protect him and Hikaru, I need to understand. I need him to understand me too.

Jin nodded. “Let’s settle Hikaru first. We will leave first thing tomorrow morning for the airport. I have my own house in Sussex. So we don’t need to deal with my mother. Let’s rest for tonight.” He pecked me on the lips and led me to bed.

The next morning, Hikaru was very reluctant to leave. I had to pull him along since he was not keen to get into the car. During the drive, he was silent and kept poking his bear on his lap. I left him alone since I knew he would cry out if I hugged him. I glanced out at the window and felt miserable.

After a 30 minutes drive, we reached the airport and boarded a flight to England. After boarding the plane, Hikaru became his usual hyper self for it was his first flight overseas. I must have dozed off, Hikaru shook me until I woke up. We checked out our luggage and waited for a taxi.

Along the way, I noticed many foreign sights in Sussex, which I was interested in exploring. I drifted into space until Hikaru nudged me. We already arrived at Jin’s house. And again, I knew he was rich since the house is at least 10 times bigger than my sister’s mansion.

I took Hikaru’s hand and gripped it tightly as he trembled beside me; for he was not used to huge houses. We slowly made our way inside, Jin grew silent. I could see his grip tighten with every step we took.

We were escorted to the sitting room for a tea break. Hikaru finally smiled happily as he saw different cookies, cakes and desserts on the table. He took the nearest cookie and took a big bite as he had not eaten lunch.

He busted into smiles of laughter as he complimented how delicious the cookie is. I smiled brightly at him while taking a sip of tea. It was the finest imported Earl Grey Tea from Great Britain. I inhaled deeply as the aroma greatly satisfied me.

Jin sat between us like a statue. He was tense. I reached over and laid my hand on his, making gentle strokes as I calmed him down. Finally, he laced his fingers with mine and smiled.

He slid closer and slowly put his lips to mine, his piercing eyes were open; sucking my lips as he pleases. I parted my lips slightly and invited his tongue inside my mouth. His kisses were always passionate but sweet. Just like him.

“I’ll make everyone leave tonight. Just you and me. After Hikaru sleeps.” He smirked wickedly. “I’m done waiting.” I blushed unknowingly. This man hits me with shyness every single time.

“Are the rooms prepared? The luggage unpacked? How about the things I requested?” Jin gave his instructions to a middle-aged man dressed neatly in a suit.

“Yes sir. All preparations are done as per your orders. May I ask for lunch to be served?” He reported formally.

“Perfect. Let’s have lunch.” He held out his hand to Hikaru. “Kyuu, Hikaru, this is Hatori - my butler. He oversees everything in this house.”

“Very well sir. Pleased to meet you Sir Kyuu and Young Master Hikaru.” Hatori bowed, addressing both of us.

I bowed back before Jin pulled both Hikaru and me towards the dining hall.

Well, another new life begins.

I wonder what’s next?

WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE.

CHAPTER 18. “Yes, hold on,” I hastily removed my shirt and put on the pile of our bag and her leggings. “Wait, don’t you want photos first?”...
