PREGNANT.

CHAPTER 11.
Its been four months since Odell proposed to me. Things have been going well. Although him being away sometimes for football is kind of unbearable. Gabby and August keep me company, so I guess I'm okay. My stomach is starting to show, which is quite cute. I love my little belly.

"I can't wait any longer. Otherwise, I'll be late for the appointment," I told Gabby.

"Okay, I'll text him on the way and tell him where we'll be" She frowned. August helped me off the couch and helped me put my jacket on. It was the middle of December, and it was cold outside. I was still in my apartment; I wasn't moving back in with Odell until we were married. I tend not to make the same mistakes twice; or at least I try not to. We all rode the elevator down and walked outside the building, and got into Aug's car. He drove us to my hospital tour.

"This is so exciting, and I get to be in the delivery room too! I can't wait to be an auntie" Gabby smiled.

"I'm excited as well," August admitted.

"Really," Gabby and I said in unison.

August looked taken back, "Why, of course. I get to be an uncle, and I'm excited for my little sister," he explained. We arrived at the hospital, and August let us out at the front door, and he went to park the car. After he was done, I walked up to the front desk.

"Hello, how can I help you," the receptionist asked.

"Hi, my name is Ashlyn Alsina. I'm here for my tour".

"Right on time. If you have a seat, she'll be right with you," she told me. I nodded and then walked over to where August and Gabby were sitting.

"Has he texted back yet?" Aug asked? Gabby just shook her head no. I took my phone out of my back pocket and called Odell.

"Hello," he answered.

"Did you forget" I questioned?

"Forget what"? I took a deep breath. This is his third time forgetting and missing an appointment.

"Forget it, Odell," I said; I ended the call. I looked over at them, and they gave me a sympathetic smile. I was tearing up when the guide came.

"Ms. Alsina, are you ready."

I nodded, holding back my tears, "Yep, let's do this."

After the tour was over, I asked August to drop me back off at home. They volunteered to stay with me, but I needed time, and I was sleepy. After they dropped me off, I watched them as they left. They're such a good couple; I hope they work out. I made my way into the building, and up to the second floor, I unlocked my door and went inside. Of course, Odell was sitting on the couch just waiting for me.

"Ashlyn-" He started.

I cut him of aaying, "Save it, Odell. On your way out, leave my key." I dropped my purse and started walking to my bedroom. Odell grabbed my arm and stopped me.

"Ash, I'm sorry. I got caught up with some things," he said.

"What things Odell? What could be more important than your kid" I answered. He just looked at me. "My point exactly, get out and leave my key."I pushed his hand off my arm and went to my bedroom, closing the door behind me. A minute later, I heard the front door close. I got up and went to the bathroom, and started a bath. I wrapped my hair up into a high ponytail, undressed, and got in the water. I unintentionally sat there until the water started to get cold. I then let out the water and took a shower. I got dressed. I grabbed my purse and keys and left my apartment. After locking the door, I went to my car and drove to a maternity store.

"Hi, welcome. If you need anything, just let me know," the receptionist said as soon as I walked into the store. I just nodded my head. I shopped around a little bit, and I bought a few outfits. I was getting bigger, and I needed a new wardrobe. As I was paying for my stuff, my phone started ringing.

"Hello," I answered.

It was my mother. " Hey sweetie. I know things aren't great between us, but I was wondering if you and your boyfriend would like to come over for dinner. August and Gabby will be there".

"Sure, what time," I asked. She went quiet. I don't think she was expecting that response out of me.

"5 sharp," she finally said. That was in 40 minutes. I looked down at my outfit; I wore jeans, a turtle neck, and some boots. I wasn't formally dressed, but I'm pregnant. They're going to have to get over it.

"I'll be there. See you," I said. I ended the call and grabbed my bags. I left the building and got in my car. I sent Odell the text, demanding him to be there or else. I didn't have anything to do, and the drive would be at least fifteen to twenty minutes, so I just made my way to my parent's house. When I arrived, August was pulling up behind me. I got out; August came to help me out of the car.

"You're supposed to help your girlfriend out of the car Auggy" I told him.

"She's the one who told me to come to help you" he smiled. Gabby walked up to us, and she took my other arm; we walked into the house like that. Gabe, my parent's butler, took our jackets. We were making our way down the foyer when Odell entered through the front door. Both August and Gabby looked at me; I smiled at them. They both shot Odell a glare, then continued down the hall.

Odell waited until they were out of sight. "Ash, I'm sorry. Can we talk later"?

"Let's just get this over with, Odell," I told him. He held out his hand, and I took it; we walked happily into the dining room.

Dinner was a blast, I had so much fun listening to my parents talk about August and me as kids. After dinner, I gave Aug and Gabby hugs, and they left. I hugged my parents, and Odell walked me to my car. He opened my car door; I stood in front of him.

"This is my last time giving you a shot, Odell; please don't waste it. I want to marry you, but you need to step up," I explained to him.

He took my hand, "Thank you. I promise I will, I promise. You and our baby are my whole world. Let's get married next month". I was a little surprised; I mean, I do want to be with him.

I blurted out, "Next month, let's do it. I'll get everything ready".

"Okay, I'm going to follow you home to make sure you get home safely," he assured me. I nodded and got in the car. After we got to my place, I let him come up, and we fell asleep together. Oh, and I gave him the key back.

WHERE DREAMS COME TRUE.

CHAPTER 18. “Yes, hold on,” I hastily removed my shirt and put on the pile of our bag and her leggings. “Wait, don’t you want photos first?”...
